Huot Instruments has three newly developed and innovative biopsy punches.
The Rotary ElliptiPunch
This dermal biopsy punch has an elliptically shaped blade; it is unique in that the blade rotates! The elliptical shaped incision is easier to close and makes the resulting scar from the biopsy less noticeable.
The Wittenberg VisiPunch
This is a circular dermal biopsy punch with "windows" in the blade that enable the medical clinician to clearly visualize the lesion being removed to ensure a higher rate of clear surgical margins. Also, the excised tissue sample can be easily removed through the window.
The Dermapunch
Our traditional circular punch for the cost conscious consumer is now available. The DermaPunch features an ultra-sharp stainless steel blade.
